The idea is simple: instead of paying a monthly subscription, you watch a short video ad (15 to 30 seconds) and earn a token. That token is your virtual currency on Loviam.
How to earn tokens
On Loviam, your token wallet (AdRewardWallet) is accessible from the icon at the top of the screen. To earn a token, simply:
- Tap the "Watch an ad" button
- Watch the video all the way through (no skipping)
- Your token is credited instantly
That's it. No form to fill out, no data to provide, no partner offer to sign up for.
How to spend your tokens
Each advanced action costs 1 token:
- Reveal a like: someone liked you? Spend 1 token to see who it is.
- Send a Super Like: make a strong impression on a profile you like.
- Direct message: send a first message to someone, even without a match.
Regular swipes (like and dislike) remain completely free and unlimited.
Is it intrusive?
No. Ads are never shown forcefully. You'll only see a video when you actively choose to watch one to earn a token. No pop-ups, no banners, no interruptions while you're swiping.
You decide when and whether you want to watch an ad.
Why this model is fairer
Traditional apps create artificial frustration to push you toward paying. With rewarded video, there's no frustration: you trade 30 seconds of your time for a feature. It's a transparent and fair exchange.
